Michael (Mike) D. Lowther

Michael D. (Mike) Lowther 76, of Stockport, passed away at 2:17 p.m. Sunday, Sept 24, 2024 at his home with his family at his side. He was born May 1, 1947 in Zanesville the son of the late, Lloyd Lowther and Mary Lou Hoover Lowther.  He was self employed  and a former member of McConnelsville Eagles Club, Webb Lodge  F&AM of Stockport, and the Morgan Shrine Club. He is survived by his wife, Arva Knox Lowther whom he married Feb. 14, 2004; his children, Kathy Lowther, David and Lisa Lowther, Jake and Meegan Myers, Kevin and Stacey Hosom, Brian and Lori Hosom, Tabitha and John Coler, Jason and Amanda Hosom; twenty one grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren; one aunt, Vonda Lee Pettibone. At Mike’s request, a cremation has taken place  with no services  to be held at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to thank Shrivers Hospice for the excellent care Mike received by their staff. Memorial contributions may be made to Shrivers Hospice Foundation.
