Mike G. Laychak

Mike G. Laychak, 95, of Malta passed away August 31, 2024 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was  born February 2, 1929 in Whitaker, PA.  a son of the late Michael Laychak and Ann Yatsko Laychak. Mike was a U. S. Army and  U. S. Air Force veteran  during  WW II and the Korean War. He served in the military for 31 years. He was retired from the former Gould Corporation of McConnelsville. Mike is survived by a son, Floyd (Letta) Laychak of McConnelsville and seven grandchildren, Angel, Alice, Kim, Mary, Michael, Turtle and Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary E. Laychak, a brother Joe, and three sisters Annie, Merch, and Francine. Friends and family may call Tuesday, September 3, 2024  from 2-4 p.m.  at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11 a.m.  at the funeral home.  Mike will be laid to rest beside his wife in Bailey Ridge Cemetery.
