Murle Juanita Apperson, 90, of Zanesville formerly of McConnelsville, passed away peacefully at her Zanesville residence on June 24, 2021. She was born May 14, 1931, in Harrison County, West Virginia the daughter of the late, Howard and Juanita (Barnes) Williams. Murle graduated from M & M High School. She was married to Sherman Apperson for 56 years. Murle was a homemaker and faithful member of Maranatha Bible Church in Zanesville. She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed cooking and floral gardening. Most of all, Murle enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are her brother, Roy Williams of Mason, OH; daughter, Loretta (Kaye) Ross; and her husband Mike, of Pataskala, OH; daughter, Lynn Shaynak and her husband Chuck, of Hilton Head Island, SC; son, Brent Apperson and his wife, Joyce of Malta; and son, Steven Apperson and his wife Julie of La Vernia, TX; eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Murle was predeceased by her husband; infant brothers, Robert and Frank; sisters, Loretta, Jean, and Eva; brother, Don Rex; and granddaughter, Nicole Bell. Calling hours will be held at the Malta Bible Church, 411 South Main Street in Malta, on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 2-3 p.m. followed by a service of remembrance at 3 p.m. with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Murle will be laid to rest beside her husband in Malta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the M & M Fire Dept. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
