Our mother, grandmother and amazing woman, Patsy Ruth Davenport Branham, went to meet Jesus on March 28, 2023. Patsy was born in Hamilton, Texas to the late Johnny and Ada Davenport. She was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School. Patsy spent 25 years working for Community Action because of her sincere passion to help people. Her greatest joy was her family whom she showered with tremendous love and pride. Patsy is survived by three daughters Teresa Applegarth, Flora (Artie) Powell, and Kim (the late Jimmy) Brannon, a son Mike (Jeannie) Smallwood. Our mother was overjoyed to be a grandma to Jonny (Ashley) Branham, Samantha (Glenn) Mellot, Kacy (Derek) Rush, Katlin (Josh) Mayle, Laci (Evan) Beckett, Allen (Sara) Smallwood, Skylar (Abby) Powell, Koen Brannon, and Mia Powell. Mom especially lit up when the great grandchildren came to visit, Brycen, Brynley, Rylend, Eastyn, Presley, Zane, Greyson, Bowen, Lily, Lena, Lisa, and Emerson Jack. Our mom was surrounded by great caregivers, aka adopted daughter Twila Mayle, Amber Norris, the amazing staff at Shrivers Hospice, Fosterbridge, and Riverside Landing Nursing Home. Our mother had no greater joy than to spend time with each and everyone of us. To say she will be missed are small words for a mother that had the biggest heart in the world. As mom journeyed to her next destination to her favorite song "I'll Fly Away", she was surrounded with the love of her family. The family will be having a celebration of life at a later time to honor our most beloved "MiMi". Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
