Pearl May Rollyson, 84, of Malta passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Highland Oaks Health Center. She was born October 4, 1936 in Webster County, WV to the late Burton Claypool and Susie Conrad Claypool Posey. Pearl was a homemaker and attended the Deerfield Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, Kopas Matthew Ogletree of Union Point, GA; three grandchildren; one step grandchild; nine great grandchildren; and a nephew, Sherman (Linda) Claypool of Malta. Also surviving is a special friend, Linda Sheets of Stockport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Rollyson; two sisters, Mary Rollyson and Ella Conrad; six brothers, Franklin, Roscoe, Teddy, Adron, Harley, John Henry Claypool; and a step grandchild. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Locust Grove Cemetery with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Deerfield Presbyterian Church 4066 N. Church Rd. Malta, Ohio 43758. Miller-Huck Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
