Phillip A. Roberts

Phillip A. Roberts, 78, of Lancaster, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was  born November 20, 1944 in Malta  a son of the late, Ernest (Sam) Roberts and  Janette (Conner) Roberts.  Phillip was a retired factory worker and attended the Church Of The Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville. He enjoyed playing golf and working in his garden. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lynda (Smith) Roberts  of Lancaster; son, Jeff Roberts of Lancaster; daughter, Shelli (Roberts) Unrue of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Robert Unrue, Douglas (Munch) & Rachel  Unrue of Grove City, Alarae Roberts of Lancaster, and Brandon Smathers. Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Dacotah, Mklah, and Douglas Jr. (Little Munch) Unrue of Grove City; many nieces and nephews;  great nieces and nephews; and three beloved dogs, Naquach, Cherokawa, and Tqchaa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and David Roberts; sisters, Rosemary LuAnna  (Roberts) Parsons, Marjorie (Roberts) Reynolds; and a son, Damon Roberts. Friends and family may call Monday, August 14, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Church Of The Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville  where funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
