Ray “John” Boyd

Ray "John" Boyd, 52, of McConnelsville passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home. He was born November 4, 1969 in Muskingum County a son of the late, Franklin Boyd and Carol Miller Boyd. John worked for the Discover Credit Card Company and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Persian Gulf War.  He is survived three sisters, Penny (Randy) Thompson of Lancaster, Patty (Brian) Murphy of Zanesville, Peggy (Don) Peck of Crooksville; a brother, David Boyd of McConnelsville; and a special family member, Tracy Reynolds of McConnelsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his girlfriend and life partner, Lora Ramsey. At Ray's request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
