Raymond L. "Butch" Adrean, 77, of McConnelsville, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his home. He was born January 12, 1941 in Steubenville to the late, Raymond D. Adrean and Margaret Joseph Adrean. Butch was a master electrician and worked at Central Ohio Coal Com. for 23 years. He also worked for Morgan Local Schools for 10 years and Jim Eppley Electric Service for 4 years. Butch was a U. S. Navy veteran and served during the Cuban Affair. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Of America and attended the McKendree United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Susie Morris Adrean; two daughters, Denise Adrean of McConnelsville and Diana (Craig) Rogers of Carbondale, Ils.; two grandchildren, Connor Rogers and Annaken Rogers; two sisters, Suszane Day of McConnelsville and Sally Welder of Amelia Island, Fl. Also surviving is a brother, Joe Adrean of Highleigh Acres, Fl. Calling hours will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Walter Jones officiating. Butch will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery at a later date. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #24 Color Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the McKendree United Methodist Church.
