Raymond E. Mahan

Raymond (Ray) E. Mahan, age 87 of Parkersburg, WV, formerly of Louisville, KY, returned home to his Heavenly Farther at 2:58 PM on June 6, 2025, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born in 1938 in Holtville, CA. He was the son of Ernest Mahan and Ruby Mills Mahan.

Ray is survived by his wife, Janet Sue Mahan, two daughters, Sonya Royse (Bruce) of Litchfield, KY; Teresa Byers of Louisville, KY; daughter-in-law, Kim Mahan; severalgrandchildren & great grandchildren. Two sisters, Lorene Leslie of Detroit, MI; Peggy Arthur (Yancy) of Terrell, TX and one brother, Grady Jones of CA; and three stepchildren: Carla Kirkpatrick (Paul) of Salisbury, NC; Sally McHenry (Jeff) and David Marshall (DeLeah) of Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Mahan and two stepdaughters, Pam Wilson and Rhonda Wigal.

He was loved by everyone he ever met and was always ready to lend a helping hand with a joke to tell and a smile on his face.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2025, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, OH with Bill Hoover officiating.

He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Malta Cemetery.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, June 13, 2025 one hour prior to services.
