Ricky D. Smith

Ricky D. Smith, 57, of McConnelsville passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born September 12, 1965 in Marietta. Ricky formerly worked at Miba Bearings in McConnelsville and was a former member of the Stockport Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed watching TV and was an avid OSU Buckeyes Football fan. Ricky is survived by his wife of 26 years, Theresa Cordray Smith;  mother, Susan Nixon Smith of Malta;  two sisters, Tonya Murray of Columbus and Tamela (Corey) Gorrell of  Malta; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Becky Sines of Newark. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Smith; and a brother, Ritchie Smith. A caring cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
