Robert E. Maxwell

Robert E. Maxwell, 63, of Malta passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Highland Oaks Health Center. He was born May 15, 1959  in Zanesville a son of the late, Alfred Maxwell and Betty Hoover Maxwell. Robert was a self employed truck driver and worked at O.K. Coal Company as a truck driver for 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his twin brother, Richard Maxwell of Malta; a step daughter, Kim Leopold of Malta; two step sons, Tim Leopold and Troy Leopold both of McConnelsville; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Also surviving is a nephew, Mike (Rachel) Burch of McConnelsville; great nephew, Carter Burch of McConnelsville; a niece, Elizabeth Maxwell of McArthur; and a great nephew, Aiden Fetherolf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Burch; a nephew, Matthew Burch; and a step grandson, Darren Leopold. Calling hours will be Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Tim Van Horn officiating.
