Ronald E. Chandler, 90, of McConnelsville passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. He was born February 18, 1931 in Duncan Falls to the late, Delmar Chandler and Luella Alexander Chandler. Ronald was a retired insurance agent for the Western-Southern Life Insurance Company where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville and the Knights of Columbus Council #505. Ronald was also a member of the McConnelsville Moose Lodge and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nancy Luko Chandler; two daughters, Monica (Tom) Baughman of Zanesville and Barbara (Sam) Elliott of Bellaire; a son, Chris Chandler of McConnelsville; six grandchildren, Ryan Elliott, Darik Elliott, Christopher Elliott, Zoe Read, Leah Baughman, and Rachel Baughman. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, his twin brother, Donald Chandler and Robert Chandler. Calling hours will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Ronald will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery.
