Ronald L. Driggs Sr. 89 , of McConnelsville passed away peacefully at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 3, 1934 in Morgan County the son of the late, Guy Driggs and Audrey Pletcher Driggs. He worked at Bragg’s Service Station, Chevrolet Garage, and Retired from Central Ohio Coal Company, was a faithful member of Main Street Church of Christ, United Mine Workers. He loved to Golf, bowl, and play softball. He was passionate about his love and faith of the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Vivian Heller Driggs; children, Kathi (Dan) Blackburn, Pamela (Danny) Dille, Cindy Apperson, Amy Bailey, Ron (Angie) Driggs Jr., Missy (Danny) Gray; 29 Grandchildren; 75 Great Grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and four more on the way. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Leona Searls; three brothers, Lawrence, Ray any Guy Driggs Jr.; two sons in laws, Michael Apperson and Chuck Bailey; one great grandchild, Braylee Gray. Friends may call 12 to 3 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville, where services will follow at 3:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Church of Christ. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements.
