Rosalie M. Murphy 83, of Crooksville passed away peacefully April 10, 2021 in Columbus. She was born Feburary 7, 1938 in McConnelsville to the late, Loretta McPeak Coler and Leonard McDaniel. Rosalie was family oriented and everyone she met loved her. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren endlessly. She is survived by her son in law, Ralph Hill Jr.; three grandchildren, Amber White, Brady (Jes)White and Taylor (Matthew) Matson; seven great grandchildren, Ariana, Ella, Hayley, J.J., Eli, Zayden, Huxley; two brothers, William (Martha) McDaniel, Danny(Susie) Coler; two sisters, Phyllis (Ralph) Lockwood and Mickey Allen and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Murphy; daughter, Lori Hill; and two sisters, Linda Finley and Sherry Shriver; half brother, Raymond Jackson. Friends may call 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. She will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery beside her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
