Roy S. Shuster

Roy S. Shuster 65, of McConnelsville passed away July 13, 2021 at the Morrison House. He was born October 26, 1955 in Muskingum County the son of the late, Marcus D. Shuster and I. Evelyn Sines Shuster. He worked at Malta Manufacturing until 2001 closure. Shortly after started driving school bus for Morgan Local Schools until retirement in 2018. He continued to substitute drive after retiring. Roy farmed all of his life, most of the time with his brother Don. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy Apperson Shuster; brothers, Don, Bill, and Richard; and a sister, Carolyn (Tom) Jenkins all of McConnelsville. Several nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved, and his beloved dog, Buddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Roger; mother and father in law, Lee and Marjorie Apperson; nephews, David Shuster and Jamison Apperson; and brother in law, Sam Russell. Heartfelt gratitude to Jill Lowther for your care and many laughs, Dr. Koduri, Dr. Tran, Dr. Bastola and the wonderful staff at the Cancer Care Center and lastly the staff at the Morrison House.  Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the Pisgah United Methodist Church near McConnelsville with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating.
