Ruth “Elly” Ellen Hivnor

Ruth Ellen “Elly” Hivnor 64, of Zanesville passed away unexpectedly August 14, 2022 at her home. She was born October 5, 1957  in Zanesville the daughter of the late  Forest Hivnor and Mary Earich Hivnor.  She worked 32 years at Good Samaritan Hospital and Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville.  She was very active in the M&M Jaycees and the Twin Community Jaycees. Elly was a 1975 graduate of Morgan High School. She is survived by her siblings, Sherry (John) Marshall of McConnelsville, Janet (Nick) Munhofen of Alphretta, Ga., Larry (Pam) Hivnor of Cambridge, and Dana (Theresa) Hivnor of McConnelsville; nieces and nephews; 1 great niece and 5 great nephews.. A celebration of life will be held in the fall at The Wilds in her memory. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements.
