Sally Kay Best, 84, of Malta passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born December 9, 1940 in Zanesville a daughter of the late, Leo Jr. and Eleanor (Driggs) Dutro. Sally was a 1958 graduate of Penn High School and was a cheerleader. She was a farm wife and loved to garden and sew. She sold eggs for many years and served on the OSU Extension Homemakers Committee. Sally was a member of the Malconta Garden Club and Mothers Club. She married D. Curtis Best on October 11, 1959. She is survived by two sons, Brian Best and Margie Haines of Pennsville, Steve Best and Charney Fitz of Pennsville; Terri Best of Malta; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren with one due in May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. Curtis Best; and a brother, Ronald Dutro. At her request, a caring cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Agricultural Society. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
