Shirley R. (North) Finley

Shirley R. Finley 86, of Duncan Falls formerly of Malta, passed way at 4:12 p.m. November 19, 2025 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville.  She was born November 11, 1939 in Morgan County the daughter of the late, Melvin North and Ethel Roberts North. She attended the Church of the Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville and enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren. She retired from Community Action Play and Learn School.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Kimberly) Pickenpaugh, Rita (Dean) Kirkbride, Sheila Leavitt, Nanette (Gary) Delong, and Brian (Stephanie) Finley; eleven grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; one sister, Diana Boyd; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Finley;  two sisters, Carrie Lyons and Flossie Newsom;  two brothers, Lee North and Russel North. Private calling hours and graveside services will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 . She will be laid to rest in Wolf Creek Cemetery beside her husband.  Miller-Huck Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
