Shirley R. Hanson

Shirley R. Hanson, 76, of McConnelsville passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022  at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born February 24, 1946 in Zanesville.  Shirley had worked at the former Malta Manufacturing Company and AVI of Zanesville at Mahle Industries of McConnelsville. She was a member of the Seventh Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. Her church and her church family were her life. Shirley is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Woodward and Dick Apperson of McConnelsville and Lisa Trainer of McConnelsville; two sons, Rodney (Bobbi) Hanson of Zanesville and Kevin (Trisha) Hanson of Malta; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Steward and her mother Mary "Jerri" Doak Stemm. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 31, 2022  at 11 a.m. at Seventh Street Church of Christ with Evangelists Trevor Gilliland and Sam Bartrug officiating.
