Steve L. Nichols

Steve L. Nichols 71, of Malta, passed away at his home on May 3, 2023. He was born April 14, 1952 in Zanesville the son of the late Elvin Nichols and Mary Lou Fitch Nichols. He was a truck driver, he loved to ride motorcycles, camping, old classic cars, and most of all he loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Linda Balding Nichols whom he married March 2, 1974; his daughter, Joei (Daniel) Waite of Crooksville, his son Jake (Jatina) Nichols of Malta; grandchildren, D.J. Waite, Dalton Waite, Dylana Waite, Cody and Blake Nichols; and a brother, Chris (Regina) Nichols of Malta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Lane Nichols. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at  Wolf Creek Cemetery with Mike Wells officiating. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements.
