Verna Mae Trayer

Verna Mae Trayer 90, of McConnelsville, passed away at 8:10 p.m. November  5, 2022 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. She was born July 12, 1932 in Tarkio, Missouri the daughter of the late, James Harold Trayer and Pauline Allen Trayer. She worked for Nationwide Insurance Co. as a life analyst and planning manager. She was a 43 year member of the Morgan County Genealogy Society. She is survived by a niece, Pam Tompkins of McConnelsville; and a nephew, Keith (Melinda) Taylor of McConnelsville; also great nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Koby and Kyler Taylor. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Louise Taylor. Graveside services will be held at 1:00p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at Malta Cemetery. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Morgan Co. Genealogy Society or Shrivers Hospice.
