Walter A. Olszewski 80, of Hilliard, formerly of McConnelsville passed away October 23, 2022 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He was born November 28, 1941 in Pittsburgh the son of the late, Walter Olszewski and Helen Karasinski Olszewski. He worked at Gould Inc. in McConnelsville and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville, Army Veteran serving from 1964 to 1970. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Wolf Olszewski; daughter, Suzanne (John) Brunicardi; two sisters, Judith Hulick of Mt. Lebanon Pa., Nancy Mason of Chapel Hill , N.C., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Marie Olszewski. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville with father Tim Kozack officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to mass at the church. Military rites will be held following services at the church. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Canonsburg, Pa. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements.
