Willard (Bill) Dailey, 93, of McConnelsville passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 29, 2024. He was born April 1, 1931 to the late Dennis and Bessie Dailey. A veteran of the USAF, he was retired from the Ohio Ferro Alloys after 35 years, and farmed most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Flossie Dailey of the home; 1 son, Daniel (Pam) Dailey; 4 daughters, Brenda Bates, Donna Anderson and Dawn Lynn (Kent) Coyle all of McConnelsville and Deloris (Keith) Sealock of Zanesville; 4 grandsons, Dustin Dailey, Brad (Trish) Bates, Bryan (Morgan) Bates, and Kameron Coyle; 5 granddaughters, Katrina (Kyle) Tabler, Sarah (Rob) Jackson, Maggie (Jon) George, Gabrielle (Ben) Strickling, and Maria Coyle; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Ken, Charles, James, and Frank Dailey; 3 sisters; Helen Cavenaugh, Juanita Kolcheck, and Bessie Klies; 2 son-in-laws, Otis Bates and Ron Anderson. The family would like to thank Shrivers Hospice and Christy for the care provided. Calling hours will be Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at the Zion Christian Union Church in Portersville with the funeral following at 3 p.m. Bill will laid to rest with military honors in the Zion Cemetery.
