William D. Butcher

William D. Butcher, 66, of McConnelsville passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his home. He was born January 7, 1957 in Chicago, IL. a son of the late, Isaac Butcher and Jean Lancaster Butcher. William was a former security guard at the Gould Corporation in McConnelsville and was a member of the  Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. He is survived by a son, Michael (Nikki)  Butcher of McConnelsville; four grandchildren, Tiaraha, Tristen, Malik, and Matthias; siblings, Michelle Butcher, Lisa Butcher, Terry Butcher, Stevie Butcher, and Todd Butcher. Also surviving are special friends, Kathy Mayle, Tammy Kuhn, Lisa Stallings; and his church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by  siblings, Linda Jane Butcher McClain, Bruce Butcher, Robin Butcher and  Robert "Butchie" Butcher. Friends and family may call Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor Vernon Eldredge officiating. The family would like to give a special thank you to Buckeye Hospice for the excellent care given to William. Memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street Church of Christ Youth Group.
