William “Bill” Louis Moore

William  “Bill” Louis Moore 71, of Malta passed away March 12, 2025 at the Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born January 25, 1954 in Hamilton County the son of the late, William and Marie Powell Moore. Bill worked for more than 30 years for  Muskingum Valley Grocery in Malta and  worked for Morgan Transit in McConnelsville for eight years. He is survived by his wife Kathy Moore whom he married June 24, 1978; his daughter, Amanda Moore; his son, Dean (Elizabeth) Moore; granddaughters, Alexis Rauch and Aubrey Moore; his sisters, Donna Couch, Debbie (Terry) Ernst; brothers, Carl (Connie) Moore and Dennis Moore; a special family member, Imogene Rowland; and friend, Roger Petty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Moore; brothers, Danny, Rusty, Randy Moore; and longtime friend, Rocky Rowland. Bill was a fan of Model Trains having built his own train set. He loved history, westerns, true crime and court shows. He loved tinkering in the garage and listening to oldies and country music. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where a service of remembrance will follow at 4:00 p.m. by the family.
