No words can take the pain away from losing a loved one, but i would love to share some comforting thoughts that have helped me through a difficult loss. Many people have heard the words "god needed another angel" and for that blame god for the suffering and loss of their loved one. However this is actually contrary to what the bible teaches. 1 thessalonians 4:13 says, "Moreover, brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who are sleeping in death, so that you may not sorrow as the rest do who have no hope." Dead ones are meerly asleep in death, and God misses them just as we do. How comforting to know that God plans on bringing them back to us. Isaiah 26:19 says, "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." We see here that our dead loved ones will be ressurected to live on earth with us again. This will be a perfect world free of the pangs and distress we see today. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” - Revelation 21:4. How we long for the day to welcome them back and see these words come true. If you would like to learn more about the Bible, please visit Jw.org. I send my deepest condolences.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Alma. She was such a sweet lady to work with at Riverside Country Care Center. Always remember the fond memories you have of her that can never be taken away from you. Losing a mother or grandmother isn't easy but remember she definitely received her angel wings and will be looking over you. Again, sorry for your loss.
