We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Curt was a wonderful man. We always enjoyed visiting with him & listening to his stories. He was also a wonderful friend to David's grandfather, Howard, & we appreciated that. He will be dearly missed by our family & this County.

Morgan County Agricultural Society aka as The Fairboard may have been our first introduction to Curt. It took us a short time to realize that horse racing was very important to Curt. We learned from Curt a lot from him about the rules of horse racing. He was, or always seemed to be, sitting on his golf cart in fron of the horse race office ready to give us a ride if needed. Always a joke in his head to tell...some he soon learned I didn't always appreciate so he would tame them down sometimes for me. His love for the fair resonated to many fair goers and to us as he would share his knowledge. He seemed to like it a lot when Ken was on the race committee and sure he chuckle when I even was timing the races.
Cherish all the brief visits we had with him. Our condolences to Sally, Steve and Brian and families.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Through 4-H and Lakeside Riding Club I got to know Curt and Sally. He was always helping the horse part of the fair. He was good at making sure we knew how to lead the races and had knowable people riding. He will be greatly missed by all.
