It is with tears in my eyes I write: In the days of my youth at Stockport, Deane was a pure-hearted friend of mine. A perfect friend. On occasion, I rode the school bus home with him and we would roam the back hills of the Muskingum Valley as if we were jolly explorers of new lands. Pure joy. Pure friendship.

Our deepest condolences to our dear aunt, cousins and families for their loss. Uncle Deane was an exceptional human - always so kind and thoughtful and a deep listener to young and old alike. He always took the time to make you feel special and loved in his own quiet and wise way. We lost one of the great ones and are the richer for knowing him.

What terrible news to hear. My father Jerry Plants worked with Deane at Gould for many years before his own accident. My Dad always had a good word to say of the whole Morrow family, especially Deane. The family never lost touch after Dads accident and checked in now and the for many years after. This man holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family. What a great man he was. So so sorry to hear of your loss. Dad and Deane are surely sharing memories up there in Heaven.

We saw the request for prayers on someone's Facebook posting and then I got a text from Tom that Deane had passed. Quite a shock! It's at times like this I regret living too far away to be there in person to offer condolences. Please know that you have our deepest sympathy. Deane was one of the good guys and one that I always looked up to. And we would look forward to seeing the Morrow family again whenever we did make it back home for an event, which regrettably, has of late been more frequently a funeral for one of those we grew up with. May you find comfort in your faith and the hope offered through Jesus Christ.
