My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember Karla volunteering at school. (Penn&South) She worked continuously to help improve our schools to make them the best learning environment as possible. She wanted what was best for her boys as well as the other students. I appreciated her efforts. Her love for her family and community was evident in her work.

My heart is very heavy for all of you. Karla was a Blessing to all of those she came in contact with. I will never forget her making sure I wasn't sitting alone at church or how she was truly interested in my life. I will always remember how excited she was when she had her boys. Remember all of the happy moments instead of the pain and fear. May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort. We are never farther away from each other than a prayer. My love to you all.
