What a woman she was! So warm and welcoming to everyone. With Pat, you were old friends right away. That everyone is saying so many similar things about her huge heart, her generosity, her humor speaks volumes about the life she led. What an example she has left for us to follow. Pat, it was my pleasure and privilege to have known you.

Jim & Family,
So Sorry for your Loss ! I remember you nicknaming Marvin Wilson, "Wildcat" !

After High School, I joined the Air Force in 1964-68. They started me out in Electronics, but due to my limited Math skills, (I Quit Algerbra after 2 weeks!) I flunked out of that, so they tried to make a teletype operator out of me! So, that pretty much wasted 4 Yrs. of my life ! Still can't type worth a Hoot! I was stationed at Finland Air Force Station, Minnesota 1964-66 then Ankara, Turkey 1966-68!

1968-70 worked at Rockwell for a couple of years, laid off about half of that time!
(I Really Loved that Job)

1971-74 Owens-Corning Fiberglas for 3 Yrs. and had to quit because of respiratory problems! If I had stayed there, I would have been Dead by now!

My brother Tom just Retired after 40 Yrs. there!

In 1974 I started an Automatic Transmission Repair Business which lasted 23 Yrs! I didn't get into the Front or 4 Wheel Drives! Mostly GM Rear Drives Only!

In 1997 I went to work for Advance Auto Parts in Heath for 13 Yrs. and Retired in April 2010!

Brother Dave is working at Lowe's in Heath and will be retiring soon!

Brother Mike has been with State Farm for almost 25 Yrs. (Structural Estimator) & will be Retiring next Month !

Mom just turned 88 and is doing pretty good except for osteo-arthritis in her spine and can't be on her feet very long!

Dad died in 1984 @ 63! He had a Stroke when he was 60! Mom & I took care of him for 3 Yrs.! He was paralyzed on his right side and couldn't talk, but knew what was going on!

I never married, to scared or to lazy, not sure which ? I'd better get busy, or my Grandchildren aren't going to have any Parents ! ! !

Take Care,
Steve Abel / Newark, OH / e-mail : csamja@webtv.net

When I first met Pat she was a gentle kind hearted woman. She always showed me love even though she did not know me that well. She never knew a stranger at all. Always talked to everyone like she had known them all her life. She was and always will be a breath of fresh air. Forever in our hearts Pat. My condolences go out to the family of this beautiful loving woman.

When my family moved to Morgan County in 1997 Pat welcomed us into her home for holiday meals. She told me that her family was huge and no one would notice any extras. We were fortunate to share a couple Thanksgiving meals and summer get togethers. Pat was a lovely person that never knew a stranger. I appreciated all she had done for us and the conversations that we shared. Rest in Peace Pat. Many prayers for your big, loving family that will miss you immensely.
